MY REVIEW

Country superstar Hudson, is back home when he spies a beauty at the local bar. He's a goner right then and there, but she's not feeling it apparently, because she runs off before he can convince her to go out with him. Except he keeps running into her and he finds she may be feeling the same. He just has to to tread a little lightly, because she's wary after ending a horrible past relationship, and dealing with the fallout involving her awful family.

Lucy moved for a fresh start, away from her family's political expectations and her awful ex. But as soon as she gets here, she catches the eye of the town's golden boy, country star Hudson, and he's intent on claiming her. She's feeling the attraction, but is she ready for a relationship in the spotlight? She was supposed to be here to relax, hang with her aunt and cousin, not fall into insta-love with a charming country boy.

Insta-love has never been so sweet and delicious as Hudson and Lucy falling madly in love. Hudson is adorable as he falls first and is down bad for a wary Lucy, who finds she can't resist his determined focus. There's family and found family, a wonderful small town, and an intense connection that blossoms into true love.

Review: One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti

Review of One Little Lie by Whitney Barbetti ONE LITTLE LIE Hollis is a good girl with a crush on a broody musician. Unfortunately, that boy, Adam, hates her. Why? Because the chip on his shoulder leaves him thinking good girl, rich girl Hollis is a lemming like everyone else in their small town. Which makes it even more unfortunate when years after their high school encounter, Hollis' best friend tries to stick up for her and ends up telling her parents that Adam is the the boyfriend Hollis doesn't actually have. Oops. How will Hollis ever convince Adam to go along with her little lie? I really liked One Little Lie. Hollis is a really naive girl, but she has such a huge heart that I couldn't help but fall in love with her spirit. She's so sweet, so compassionate, the kind of person this world needs more of. Adam, on the other hand, eh, he didn't do much for me. His chip on the shoulder, broody asshole attitude did nothing to endear me to him, but because H...
