Review Blitz: Until I Found You: A Calamity Falls Small Town Romance (The McKenna Brothers #2) by Erika Kelly

Until I Found You by Erika Kelly is now live!

Pie-Baking Quarterback. Single Dad. Summer Road Trip.

Decker McKenna lives for football--but a three-year-old with big blue eyes is about to rewrite his playbook.

Willa Holland came home to restore her family's inn, not to get tangled up with a grumpy quarterback. But watching him try so hard--and stumble so sweetly--at being a father makes it impossible for her to resist.

Late-night baking. Small-town charm. And a little girl who shows them what really matters.

Steamy small-town romance with a grumpy quarterback, a charming innkeeper, and a daughter who changes the game.

MY REVIEW

When Willa's flight is cancelled and the last rental car is taken, she has to figure out a way to get to her friend's wedding. Thank God the last car was taken by Decker, he's going to the same wedding - his brother's marrying her friend. AND he needs someone to drive him, thanks to a season ending injury that took him off the field, for a to be determined amount of time. Their immediate connection will be tested, though, when an unexpected revelation is dropped on him when they get to town.

Decker's whole focus has always been football. This injury is making things harder to achieve his goal, but he's up for the challenge. Then Willa and Birdie come into his life and now he's wondering if football is really the most important thing, or if the love of his girls is everything.

I can't believe how much I love Willa and Decker, but bringing Birdie into their lives honestly made them, and their story, infinitely better. They both had so much trauma in their pasts, but their fateful meeting allowed them healing as they fell in love. I do so love me a good football romance, especially if a quarterback is the one who finds love, but Until I Found You is so much more than a simple sports story, it's a beautiful and heartfelt love story with 3 amazing, seriously lovable characters.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
