Falling for your enemy is bad. Falling for the man you only call your enemy is worse.

Reece Fox is a decade older than me but I’m his boss. And if the man growls at me one more time, he’s going to learn the true meaning of the Montgomery temper. Yet I can’t stop thinking of him.

After losing my fiancé, I’ve sworn off men, but when Reece does the one thing I never thought he’d do—ask for help—I can’t walk away.

Brooklyn Montgomery is too young for me. She’s not only my boss, but my friend’s family. The definition of forbidden. We both know this. But I can’t keep my hands off of her. When we finally give into the heat between us, there’s no going back.

Only when a little girl shows up at our work, she changes our world completely with one word:

Dad.

Kiss Me Forever is an age gap, workplace, surprise single dad contemporary romance featuring Brooklyn and Reece. Each book can be read as a complete standalone. An HEA is guaranteed!

MY REVIEW

Brooklyn lost her fiancé and since then has determined to just be single and work her part of her family's business as a landscape engineer. She has a coworker, an older, seriously grumpy (and hot) guy named Reese, who growls at her more than he actually speaks to her. They're not what she'd consider friends, but he's part of her huge family and found family, so when a young teen announces herself as his previously unknown daughter, Brooklyn lets Reese know he's not alone in this new part of his life. And she has a bond with the girl, forming a strong friendship with her. Now coparenting of sorts with Reese is bringing up all these feelings...

Reese has pushed down his inconvenient feelings for Brooklyn for so long, that he can't remember when he didn't want her. But he works for her family's company, he's far too old for her, so she's beyond off-limits. But then his new discovered daughter Bella comes crashing into his life and he's so far off kilter he can't right himself. Thank God for Brooklyn, because not only has she formed a strong friendship with Bella in a short time, she's been there for him, has become his rock when he didn't even realize he needed her. Now those inconvenient feelings have become so strong he can't deny them any longer. Now he's not going to let her go, anymore than he's going to let Bella go to her horrible grandparents. His girls are staying with him!

Brooklyn and Reese's story is slow burn, but the tension between them was just itching to be given into. I just knew when they couldn't resist any longer, the sparks would become a full blown blaze, and whew! Beyond that chemistry, though, the heart of their journey, is that emotional connection that was apparent from their first words to each other. And then along came Bella, this poor girl, who was grieving her mother, had been with her horrible grandparents since, now shoved into a home with a father she doesn't know. Sure she was sullen and snarky (like all teens), but Brooklyn knew just how to reach her. I love the story that's not just Reese and Brooklyn, but equally Bella. Theirs is a beautiful, heartfelt story.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
