MY REVIEW

Oliver Hart is coming home to Richton and Kassie's just found out...because he's her new tenant. Yep. But no biggie, she can avoid him as much as possible, while she bakes pies and does her everything in her power to forget how much she used to love him. There will be no heartfelt conversations with him, no walking down memory lane, and definitely no falling into whatever or wherever with him while he's here filming his latest movie. Because last time when he walked away, he broke her heart into a million pieces and she still hasn't recovered, regardless of what she tells herself. There will definitely not be any falling into love. Right?

Oliver chased, and accomplished, his dream. But lately the life of fame and fortune in LA has seemed to be missing something. Is it so crazy that he might have found his missing piece with the girl he left behind? Here in small town Richton? He cannot leave LA, though, and Kassie won't leave Richton, so their time together has an expiration date. He'll enjoy himself, and walk away with only good memories now that she's forgiven him. Then back to his empty, lonely life, the one he thought made him so happy.

Kassie and Oliver's second chance is beautiful, heartfelt, and more than a little spicy. Their journey to forgiveness then love had me tear up more than once, as they did indeed walk down memory lane, cleared up a lot of issues, and come to some major realizations. Oliver is adorable, but it's Kassie who's the star of their story - her quiet strength and warmth really had me rooting for Oliver to realize where his heart truly lay, because she deserved that second chance, the happiness he denied them when he walked away the first time. Richton is a pretty wonderful town, I'm excited to find out who falls in love next.
