Their rivalry turns into undeniable chemistry, and a secret relationship neither can afford.

As the youngest son in the Bradford football dynasty, I’ve spent my whole life being compared to someone else. The last thing I need is an influencer building her platform on my mistakes.

So naturally, I confront her.
Then I kiss her.
Again.
And Again.

Now we’re hiding a secret relationship that could destroy both our careers, and I’m falling for the one woman who refuses to go easy on me.

When a baby shows up on my doorstep, she stays to help, and we find ourselves wrangling poopy diapers, unexplained crying, and a little girl who makes us feel things we’re not ready to admit.

Naturally, the paps catch us, a photo is leaked, and our whole relationship goes viral. Everything is put on the line, and we’re forced to choose: walk away or risk it all to stay in the Zone.

(ZONE is a rivals-to-lovers football romance with a sweet but cocky Hero and a smarty but sassy FMC, who develop a secret relationship, until a surprise baby softens their edges, tests their bravery, and forces them to face the truth. Hilarious found family, spicy times, no cheating, no cliffhanger, no third-act breakup, and a guaranteed HEA.)

MY REVIEW

Melody the "Quarterback Princess" knows football. She should, considering her father is football legend himself (Scout Dunne from Twist of Fate). She used to have a show with her partner, but when she turned out to have very different ideas of what's ethical journalism, they parted ways. Now she's on her own, driving Uber to make ends meet, when she meets The Saints' upcoming QB, and their meeting was less than positive. It inspired her newest podcast, where she discusses (usually in a negative way) Knox's play. She's snarky, she's funny, but she's accurate, and it catches his interest, and then some. Now he's finally found her true identity, and is confronting her. Things are about to get fun...

Knox is from a legendary football family, he's trying to not only live up to, but also step out from, that legacy. Things aren't going so well, and the Quarterback Princess's show isn't helping matters. She not only mocks him, but she calls him out for all his terrible plays. Incredibly, all he does is want to meet her. And when he does...whew! Instead of hating her, he falls in love with her, practically at first sight. But now he's got a much bigger thing to focus on than his relationship, the baby girl who was plopped in his lap. Watching as Melody sticks around, is his rock, and is falling in love with his daughter, Cricket, has Knox's heart down bad, for both his girls.

I will remember Melody and Knox forever, based on their snarky banter alone. But there's so much more to them than that. The way they went from rivals to a hell of a lot more because neither could resist each other. Knox practically thrived on his QP's no holding back analysis of his plays, but it was the way she formed a fast connection with his surprise daughter that sealed the deal. Melody couldn't have been more amazing - not only is she smart and knows her football, she has a huge heart for her man, their baby, and all the family and found family. I think I have my new favorite Tia couple - they have so much heart, snark and wit, and seriously delicious chemistry.

Review: Waiting for You by Kate McBrien

Review of Waiting for You by Kate McBrien Justin and Lucy are apart, but for how long? Lucy's staying with her parents, but knows she needs to get out and start living her life again. But when she gets a chance to go to London, it just may be her chance to reunite with the man whose soul has been entwined with hers for centuries upon centuries. But first, our two fated lovers will have to not only reunite, but stay together, beat the odds and the people and/or forces who are trying to keep them apart. Waiting for You is a great followup to Discovering You. Justin and Lucy's story is exciting and passionate, and the mystical/fantasy/paranormal aspect just adds another interesting layer to their already wonderful connection. I normally don't read a lot of paranormal/fantasy/sci-fi romance anymore, but I loved it here in Waiting for You. It's subtle, but ever present and as I said, just makes their story all the more intriguing. I can't wait for the conclusio...
