MY REVIEW
Jo had her moment with an older, HOT librarian, but it was just a moment. Now she's embarking on a months long job as the nanny to his daughter. How's she, a romantic, going to keep her professionalism around her boss, knowing he might be attracted to her but definitely doesn't want a relationship with her.
The spice in this one is SPICING! There's lots of "daddy" if that's your thing, and it's clear their physical connection is strong. Their emotion connection though, took time to build, but it too was there, just buried beneath Ellis' fear of being hurt again. Thank God for some revelations, his meddling mom, and his daughter, whose bond with Jo is honestly my favorite part of this story. Age gap isn't necessarily my favorite trope, but here it's done so well, and I didn't feel it mattered at all considering how connected Jo and Ellis were, in all the ways that count.
