MY REVIEW

Vivian thought playing once at the club would just be a way to release all her pent up worry and stress. And it was, but now it's come back to bite her because that Dom just walked into her workplace as a new security operative, and her boss wants her to be his therapist. She thought perhaps she could help him, but when Mal turns cold like he did briefly during their time at the club, she knows she's not the right therapist for him. Not just that, but she's not the right woman at all for him.

But as time goes by (quickly), Malcolm knows Vivian is in fact, the woman, the sub, the everything for him. He just has to get out of his own head, get past his very inaccurate way of thinking that he's damaged so not good for her. Vivian sees him, the real him, and not only isn't disgusted by him, she loves him. His protective instincts are even stronger now that he has feelings for Vivian, and he's going to protect her if it's the last thing he does, then make sure everyone knows she's his.

No one does BDSM quite like Lexi. The scenes are seriously spicy, especially because of their emotional component. But even better, added to a spy story, how could I possibly not love Vivi and Mal?! He had a whole mess of issues to work through, but he had her to help him, and his new found family, and I couldn't have been cheering him, them, on any harder. The suspense though, whew, that was so completely bonkers, so twisty. Of course, there are new questions now, and I'm not just impatient for the next story so I can read about someone falling in love, I have to know where this new storyline is going! I want answers, stat.
