MY REVIEW
Robin has walls, that much is obvious, so it's going to be a hard trip for Micah to scale them. He has a secret, though, that may ultimately undo all of the work he's done to prove to Robin that she's safe with him.
Micah has been obsessed with Robin since he first saw her. His first night with her, she thinks will be their only, but he's got forever in mind. If he can get past her defenses, forever just may be in the cards for them. If, if he comes clean to her about his secret, a secret that he knows will most likely break them.
Retellings can be iffy, but this one is so good! There's a beautiful found family and 2 amazing characters at its center. Robin is this prickly character, but with good reason, and I could just tell that her heart was waiting for the right person in Micah to love, and be loved by. They're flirty and cute, but beneath it all is a strong emotional connection that's the center of their relationship. Robin and Micah are a pair of opposites in the best possible way. Now I'm impatiently waiting for the next Grimm Reaper to fall in love.
