MY REVIEW
Emma is all about being and feeling unseen, thanks to growing up without the kind of family we all wish for, we all deserve. But she's had her best friend Grant for nearly 20 years. They've always been just friends, but this holiday season, things are about to change. She's offering up a way for him to keep his parents from pressuring him to date, and that line is going to inevitably be crossed. Will this pair of friends finally realize what's been right in front of them their whole friendship?
Now this, this is how you do a holiday romance! So adorably sweet, a sprinkle of holiday magic, and the warmth of family, it really has me ready for Christmas now, even though it's a good 3 months away. Emma and Grant had been yearning and pining for each other for years, they just needed a little push to get them to open up to those feelings, get them over the fear of ruining their friendship for the possibility of love. I really relate to this romance because my husband is my best friend, and I can't imagine spending the rest of my life with anyone but him - our friendship is underpinned by love.
