MY REVIEW
The last thing Davien expected when called into his rugby team's new owner's office is for that new owner to be his former best friend/hookup aka the man who broke his heart. The awful cherry on top, though - he just proposed to his girlfriend Ally minutes before and now they're both in Kyren's office and it's obvious things are ... uncomfortable. But that discomfort is really just masking what turns out to be not only feelings that never disappeared between Davi and Kyren, but new feelings between Ally and Kyren. This Christmas season looks to be delicious. But will the magic of the season extend past the holiday? Or will they let what the world might think ruin the beautiful thing they've started?
Kyren knew Davien had no idea he'd kept up on him and his career. In his heart, he'd never forgotten Davien, and after a serious health scare recently, he knew he had to do something. Purchasing his rugby team is just the first step in that something. But Davien's not single, he's a package deal. He isn't really jealous of what Davien and Ally have, no, he wants them both, the only question is, will he push them away the way he did to Davien all those years ago? Even when it's obvious they both want him too?
Ally is one lucky, very deserving, woman! But she's also smart, sweet, and knows what she wants and is unafraid to let people know. I think it was genius to start the story off with an established relationship between Davien and her. Adding Kyren to that established connection, with his connection to Davien making things even spicier and deeper, elevated this spicy Christmas read into something more than just spicy fluff. I'm in such a holiday mood now after having read this sweet, deliciously magical Christmas love story. Ally, Davien and Kyren are now one of my favorite trios!
